What Causes Trembling Fingers and Hands?

YesOnProp15 cares about your well being as much as you do. Which is why aside from our work in the political arena, we would like to make you aware of a condition called Essential Tremor in today’s article. This condition affects millions of Americans and many more around the globe. Perhaps if enough people spread the word, one day, we will see a real cure for this problem.

While trembling hands, or more commonly known as shaky hands, may not be a life threatening illness, it can still cause a lot of embarrassment to the sufferer. As well as feeling embarrassed, a person with shaky hands can also find simple every day tasks to be quite the challenge.

In some cases however, trembling hands can be the sign of a more serious underlying problem. In fact anyone who starts to notice that they, or someone they know, has started to develop trembling hands without a known reason, medical help should always be acquired. Below a few of the causes of trembling hands are outlined:

An overactive thyroid

Huntington’s Disease

– Side effects of certain medication

– A low blood sugar level

– An over anxious state

Cerebellar Disease

– A seizure

– A caffeine Overdose

– A traumatic brain injury

Multiple Sclerosis

Parkinson’s Disease

– Alcoholism

As is clear from the above list, the causes of trembling hands are very varied. Hence seeking medical assistance as soon as possible, is vital for anyone suffering from shaky hands.

Another common cause of trembling hands is Essential Tremor. Whilst this condition is not yet fully understood by medical professionals, it is thought to be caused by a disruption in brain function of the cerebellum. At the moment the cause of the interruption and how it can be stopped, is not yet understood.

Shaking is a common symptom of people with Essential Tremor, whilst the trembling is very common in the hands, it can also show itself in the arms, head and vocal chords. The shaking is especially obvious when a certain affected muscle is used. This is the opposite to hand trembling seen in people with Parkinson’s Disease. For such people the shaking is worse when the muscle is at rest.

So now that we understand the main causes of shaky hands, it would be good to know whether a cure or treatment is available. Below a brief outline to cures and treatments for trembling hands is outlined.

Cures For Trembling Hands: Treating An Underlying Condition

For shaky hands that are caused by an underlying condition, treating the condition will often minimize or even eliminate the trembling. Doctors will usually not mention natural treatments because they are classified as holistic remedies.

Such underlying conditions may be a caffeine overdose, alcohol dependency, or as a side effect to a certain medication. For the latter, your doctor may be able to recommend an alternative medication which does not have this undesirable side effect.

Trembling Hands Caused By Essential Tremor

Unfortunately, if Essential Tremor is the cause of your trembling hands, then a known cure is not available. However working along with your doctor you may find a treatment which can at least minimize the problem, even if it cannot eliminate it altogether.

What Type Of Treatments May A Doctor Prescribe For Trembling Hands?

Your doctor may recommend that you don’t take a treatment for trembling hands, however if a treatment is recommended, it may be one of the following:

Long-acting Propranolol

– Propranolol

– Primidone.

Not all medications have the same effect on each person, hence if one type does not work, your doctor may try you with something else.

Certainly trembling hands can be an embarrassing problem which can significantly interfere with daily activities. Whilst it may be the indication of a more serious underlying condition, it can also be an indication of Essential Tremor.

The best course of action is to seek medical assistance and follow the directions of your doctor for a treatment course. This may include treating an underlying condition or taking a form of medication to minimize the problem.

Ok Never Put Body Paint All Over Your Entire Body, Here’s Why

Jennifer Lawrence recently shared here experience with acting in the X-men franchise. She described what it was like having her entire body painted blue. Now, most people might think this is cool. Who wouldn’t want to dress up as an X-men for months?

But before you go around figuring out what paint can you put on your body, let’s take a second to see what you’re really doing.

You’re painting your entire body. And like the article explains, you’re going to suffocate your skin regardless of what you paint on it.

So unless you’re getting paid millions of dollars and can afford an entire body rash, treatment, and recovery time, then I’d advise against it.

$23 Billion Dollar Hole In This Bucket: How The 2016 Presidential Election Debates May Shift To Real Tax Issues

Two men went fishing.

One of the men brought a boat, and early one morning they took the boat out into the middle of a big deep lake.

One of the two men fell asleep, but he was startled awake by the sound of an auger.

The other man was drilling a hole in the bottom of the boat.

While often entirely avoided during the Presidential debates and tidbits we catch from mainstream media, taxes may hit home this year before voters head to the polls. Recent news has focused on politically correctness and where candidates land on today’s chart for cultural norms. However, every American knows the truth when it comes to our money and taxes – we would all rather path less than more.

A recent study by a watchdog group known as the Treasury Inspector General For Tax Administration found a horrific abuse of the property of every single tax paying American. Over $23 Billion dollars in wrongful tax credits in 2015.

Just reading the title of the report may send shivers down your spine if you’re a tax payer in this country. Of I might say we’ll hear complaints starting with those paying the most taxes, and then down from there. Those who pay no taxes will have no reason to think twice about this news.

Without Expanded Error Correction Authority, Billions of Dollars in Identified Potentially Erroneous Earned Income Credit Claims Will Continue to Go Unaddressed Each Year

What does this mean for the average American? Over $23 Billion dollars is literally being given away without question by the United States government. The system has degraded to the point where there is no difference between a false or a legitimate earned income credit claim.

While you are paying into this broken system, another person is withdrawing from it.

How many Americans will see this as a serious issue with the United States government and tax collection?

One thing is clear. The current administration can fully be blamed for the blatant theft of American tax payers money. The issue must not be important to the Obama administration and the history books will assuredly mark this failure as one of the most detrimental to the American economy – let alone world economy. If this were important, the issue would not now be $23 Billion dollars worth of an issue.

However, as is often the case, the problems created by one administration may be the weight put on the next President’s shoulders.

Yes On Prop 15 – The Spirit of Democracy Will Never Die

In 2015, a landmark political win was made when Californians decided to vote for clean money in politics. While some people may have been confused about what was happening, informed voters weren’t. One side of the issue was this:

Clean money in politics. Give the people an honest election where there is an even playing field. Where money doesn’t buy votes, but the best candidate wins.

Then there were reality based views where people claimed the following was more accurate, not wishful thinking:

Money is a necessary resource for any real candidate to get exposure in an election. Take the Presidential election for example. If a person with $0.00 tries to compete, he won’t be able to buy TV ads. He won’t be able to afford trips around the country and so on. Much like advertising any product in the world today or ever, money acts as a valuable resource for getting exposure. Ideals are important, but without funding they go nowhere. And even a world without money in politics can’t actually exist, it’s a fantasy. There is a pseudo money-less politics, but it has to come from somewhere, and someone has to decide who receives it. Creating a monopoly of political funding. Perhaps even more skewed than what people see today.

Regardless, we’re here again to bring you coverage and interesting takeaways from this years political frenzy. Stay tuned.
